We arrived in Ruidoso, NM safe and sound. About an 11 hour drive altogether (with lunch, stops, etc). Tomorrow we head out early to the Air & Space show. It’s in Alamagordo, about 70 miles away. Though it’s a haul, it’s cheaper to stay here (off-season) and it’s more in the middle of stuff.

We’re pretty high up right now, at 6920 feet–the scenery, especially along US 70 is really beautiful. Evelyn took hundreds of pics already! We’re hoping to hit the nearest peak, which is over 10,000 feet.
