The Bat Sign Continues
Work on the Bat Sign continues. Today Evelyn mounted it on the backboard and attached the front-panel cutouts. She’s next going to surround it with a “frame” of jagged edges, like a cave opening.
It’s pretty impressive in person, as it’s mounted on stand-offs, so the black part is actually “hovering” about an inch above the white background. The pink LEDs face toward the background. To give you a size reference, the black bat portion is about 20 inches wide by 12 inches high.
Here’s a video of it in action, the background really isn’t yellow, that’s the low-light affecting the camera.
