If you get the heat right, this is all unattended time. Just check on it to make sure it&#039;s not boiling over, and give it a stir to keep the garlic from sticking to the bottom. 

Keep a careful watch on it as it gets thicker, as it will have the tendency to splatter. If you reduce down to &quot;soup&quot; level, then it won&#039;t splatter, and you&#039;ll have a simple &quot;bright&quot; soup.

You won&#039;t need to salt the mixture, since most canned tomatoes are already salted.</description>
